10 Reasons to love an Elephant

There is so much to learn about these gentle giants of their land and the book gives a excellent glimpse into their lives.

I was particularly taken of how they spread plant seeds from the woods by ingesting them and pooing out them at a different 31, 3 which tells where they then grow into new plants. I could add the same is the case of Sally our pig in Coombe Mill. We now had a crop of cucumbers seeded in her garden once we moved her pen, no prizes for guessing what her favourite treat was!

10 reasons to appreciate a turtle.

Turtles are one of the earliest species around today. They are now protected species and also the publication can allow you to know a bit bit about their lives and how we are currently trying to protect them. We have recently visited a turtle conservation beach in Greece where we all paths and saw turtle nests. Everything I heard on holiday explained in the most enjoyable way and was all in the publication from Quarto.     As an instance in places, such as the one we visited, there are no built up areas near the beach as this could disorientate the born turtles. Crawl and they have to vibrate towards the lighting of the sea to start their own life.
