NASA said it’s cooperating with American Girl a reporter and publication firm, to inspire kids to dream big and reach for the stars.
The focus of the collaboration is that the “Girl of the Year” Lady for 2018, an 11-year-old aspiring astronaut named Luciana who would like to be the first man to place , the US space agency said on 28 December
“it’s essential to discover exciting new ways to inspire our next generation of space explorers,” said NASA astronaut Megan McArthur.
“I always wish to to pursue their dreams, no matter how large, and I think it helps to demonstrate how those dreams could become reality for any child,” McArthur said.
The doll is place to go on the market in the January, 2018.
The US space agency said it partnered with the company to share the enthusiasm of distance together with the public, and in particular, inspire young girls to know about mathematics, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
NASA supplied the business subject matter specialists for their advisory board, provided input for a coming book series.
To ensure credibility and adherence to agency graphic and media usage standards, in addition, it reviewed product as it was developed for its STEM-inspired character.
Besides technical information, NASA stated it supplied imagery and content for a brand new American Girl program and educational website geared toward offering kids distance simulations, informative quizzes, barriers, and much more.
